Excel Plumbing and Air is looking for established and experienced HVAC installer/Service Technicians to grow with us! We pride ourselves with having a long history of offering only the best residential and commercial HVAC services in and around Chicagoland.

Our HVAC Technicians cover Cook, Lake and DuPage counties.

Requirements:

• Installing, maintaining, and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment.
• Identifying maintenance risks on equipment.
• Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems.
• Cleaning, adjusting, and repairing systems, and performing warranty services.
• Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
• Providing technical direction and on-the-job training.
• Keeping daily logs and records of all maintenance functions.
• Ensuring compliance with appliance
• Complying with service standards, work instructions and customers’ requirements.
• Assisting with customers’ queries.
• Inspect & perform regularly scheduled maintenance of HVAC systems
• Troubleshoot equipment & assist customer with repair/replace decision
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests

Qualifications:

• EPA certified Type 2 or better
• 3 years’ experience and/or training
• Clean background
• Valid Driver’s License
• Able to participate daily in physical labor
• Need to be flexible with hours
• Be friendly & respectful towards customers and their property
• Problem solving skills
• Must be able to read schematics
